Dodgy CGI. Lame jokes. Cheesy voiceovers. Ladies and gentlemen (mostly gentlemen), judging by this just-released trailer, I’m pretty confident that next summer’s Green Lantern film is going to suck—or at least enrage legions of diehard comic book geeks (which honestly isn’t all that difficult, but still).

I will say this looks mildly awful... I'll still see it though...
This looks absolutely terrible( !) From the storyline of slacke-gone-superhero (Reynolds has done slacker ad naseum) to the fake foreign girlfriend to the rip-off of Kelly McGillis of Top Gun and the terrible jokes ("Hal, you're late, this test today is IMPORTANT...I'm gonna make you look up there today, now let's take these pants off and fly some planes). Ugh. One of those situations where they put the "best" lines in the trailer...I will be waiting for the review before I plunk down $8 for this...
