It's weirdly fitting that on the first Friday of Lent, we get our first look at the cinematic version of DC's fishiest superhero, Aquaman, as he will appear in
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, coming next year. This doesn't really look like the character any more than it looks like
Game of Thrones' Khal Drogo holding a giant novelty fork. However, I guess it's important that Warner Bros. try its best to make Aquaman looks as "badass" as possible, since he's undeservingly the most joked-about DC hero this side of Arm-Fall-Off-Boy.

It definitely does look like the Aquaman of the comics from 1993 to 2001. Which I am pretty sure pre-dates Game of Thrones. It was also a look that made it to DC's animated universe in 2001 when the Justice League series ran. The photo has a very obvious filter on it like the one released of Batman, Wonder Woman and even Superman to an extent. Please don't just parrot whatever general pop culture afficionados are saying. You are supposed to be a little better informed than them.
