Even though we only got a snippet of the new Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer during the Big Game itself — we had to go online to see the whole thing — our latest glimpse into the forthcoming exploits of Steve Rogers was a whole hell of a lot more exciting than the one-sided clash between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. If you’re living in the Northeast U.S. and are snowed in today, why not watch this 10 or 12 times?

Sneak Peek at 'Winter Soldier' Super Bowl Spot

Marvel’s posted a trailer for the trailer you’ll be watching this Sunday during the Super Bowl. It’s not much to get excited about at just 16 seconds, but on what we’ve seen so far from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, this film could be the most surprising Marvel Studios release yet.

 

‘Captain America: The Winter Solder’ Trailer Flaunts Explosions, Scarlett Johansson

The first trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier is online, and if you aren’t geeking out about it, that simply means you haven’t seen it yet. I love the look and feel of this film, which appears like more of a spy thriller than its lighter predecessor. I also really dig the banter between Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and The Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). Yet, perhaps the most intriguing aspect of this trailer is that this film apparently pits Cap against S.H.I.E.L.D. itself. I can’t say I saw that coming.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits U.S. theaters in March 2014.
